‘Vision Insurance was founded in 2001. James Macfarlane joined founder David Rush as a director in 2017 before taking over the business upon David’s retirement in 2025.’

As a small but nimble team, we have in-depth knowledge of insurance polices and law which enables us to go the extra mile to offer personalised service and the versatility to meet your changing needs.
It is important to us that you have a personal relationship with your preferred broker and are able to communicate directly with them for all your insurance needs including the claims process.
As experienced insurance brokers, we act for you, not the insurer.

Keiran’s insurance career began when he left school and continued when he moved from Invercargill to Ashburton in 2010. Joining Vision in 2025, he also enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 young adult children, 2 dogs and 3 cats.
